A heavy load
Success unsure
They wait for him to fail.
A burden so taxing
A weight so intense
Observers mock his pain.
Only faith and a strong back
Will bring triumph
Though bystanders snicker
He won’t give up.
He will pray for strength
To lighten his load;
To ease his stress;
To laugh at those
Who thought he would quit.
With God, this load is not heavy.
